Chinese Lanterns at St Giles’ Cathedral - Burns&Beyond 2020

St Giles' Cathedral

Folllowing last year’s spectacular presentation of Luke Jerram’s ‘Museum of the Moon’ and in celebration of Burns Night and Chinese New Year falling on 25th January, a stunning Chinese lantern installation has been created to transform Edinburgh’s famous St Giles’ Cathedral with a canopy of over 400 lanterns.

An evening illumination and soundtrack will create a spectacular sensory experience along with a programme of daytime and evening performance and events throughout the festival.

Daytime Entry: Mon – Sat 9am to 5pm, Sun 1pm to 5pm (Free, un-ticketed)
